Technology In Mathematics Explorations Workshop Series Fall, 2003-Spring, 2004 Overview of Workshops The purpose of this workshop series is to help you better understand how the Internet and Mathematics software can be useful in teaching and learning mathematics. Participants will get a hands-on opportunity to learn how to use a variety of software environments that will engage students in problem solving. Examples include: Geometer's Sketchpad, Spreadsheets (i.e. Excel or Appleworks), Microworlds and Green Globs. Extensive information on software, calculators, etc. will be provided.
