| Purpose
of Today's Workshop |
Today's workshop will cover a wide
range of topics. Internet safety will be discussed and participants will
have the opportunity to explore a variety of methods that will ensure safe
surfing on the Internet. Participants will be introduced to classroom management
strategies for dealing with a one computer classroom, which will assist
those trying to implement Internet-based projects with limited Internet
connections. Alternative assessment strategies, designed to assist teachers
in evaluating student work will be presented. Finally, strategies
for conducting in-service workshops and for mentoring other teachers will
be examined. |
