Purpose of Today's Workshop
Today's workshop is gong to examine applications of the Internet in Biology. Participants will be introduced to a CIESE collaborative project in the area of genetics and will spend time exploring the data analysis activities which are part of the project. In addition, the Genetics Project will be used to examine general implementation issues concerning the use of collaborative projects in various classroom environments. Real time data activities will also be introduced and time will be given to explore them. Lastly, participants will be given a block of time to explore a large range of general biology resources and create a small web page for use outside the workshop.Genetics Collaborative Project
