Kingston School

Hi friends! We are Mrs. Cohen's 4th graders at Kingston School. We live in Cherry Hill, NJ. That's in the U.S.A.! We're one of a dozen elementary schools in Cherry Hill. There's 2 high schools - East and West. We'll go to West in 9th grade. Our district gives a good education for everybody.

There's 21 kids in our class. Although we're all natural-born citizens, some of our parents were born in other countries, including Thailand, Greece, Poland, Cuba, and Italy.

For math, we are trying to collect 1,000,000 soda tabs by the end of the school year. So far, we have more than 10,000 tabs. So we need a lot more!

Since we live so close to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, most of us are fans of "philly" sports teams. Football, basketball, hockey, and baseball are a few popular sports in our area. For fun, some of us like to play dodgeball, kickball, or swing. Outside of school, some of us are involved in swimming meets, football teams, dancing, cheerleading, hockey, cooking classes, or musical lessons.

Restaurants that we enjoy eating at include McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, Boston Chicken Market, and Planet Hollywood. We love to shop at Macy's, Sears, JC Penny's, The Gap, The Limited, and Modells. Target is a brand new store in our area. Popular supermarkets are Shop Rite, Acme, Super G, and Pathmark.

Common wildlife in our area include squirrels, rabbits, crows, bluebirds, chipmunks, sparrows, and cardinals.

Our latitude and longitude location is 38 degrees N , 75 degrees W.

That's what life is like in Cherry Hill!
