We have been studying volcanoes and earthquakes so that we can answer your questions about were earthquakes will occur and how to determine what parts of the world are most prone to earthquakes and the relationships between and earthquakes and volcanoes what a volcano is and when they will erupt.

    Most recent earthquakes have mostly occurred in Japan, Fiji, Alaska, California, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Yes earthquakes occur around plate boundaries and around faults. The reason I think they occur around plate boundaries because earthquakes are made by the plates rubbing against each other.

Yes there is a way to determine what parts of the world are most prone to earthquakes. The way they could determine what parts of the worlds are prone to earthquakes with a seismograph.

    Yes there is a relationship between earthquakes and volcanoes. The relationship between earthquakes and volcanoes are that they both occur along faults. Another way they are the same is that they both also occur on plate boundaries.

What causes earthquakes? The thing that causes earthquakes is the rocks breaking the vibrations causes the earth to shake. When the earth starts to shake because of the rocks breaking and causing vibrations cause earthquakes.
