Using the Real Time Data
Link (AVHRR Sea Surface Temperature Data) below, choose a recent
7-Day Composite Image for the Gulf Stream Region by:

Choosing the current year and
month (Click on choice)

Finding a recent 7-Day Composite
Image without too much cloud interference.

Click
on D-Button
for Help using the AVHRR Sea Surface Temperature Data

On one of the Blank Gulf Stream
Maps, locate the following:

The Gulf Stream Current (black)
-
North Wall (green)
-
Meanders
-
Cold-core eddies (blue)
-
Warm-core eddies (red)
