Is it Fair: The Single Cube Game?

In this activity you use a Microworlds Applet to roll one cube many times. The object is to see if you can predict which event (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6) will come up most often and win the race.

Open the Rolling Cubes Microworld.
You should see something like the figure below.

The computer just rolled one cube 105 times and 3 was the winner.

Try it again. What happened this time?
Can you predict which number will win if we roll the die 500 times? Why?
Is this a fair game? Does each number have the same chance of winning? Explain?
