Combining Turns use with lesson 5.4
The focus of this activity is turning, or rotating a line segment so it
matches up with points on a circle.

Click on the circle above to download this sketch.
Your goal is to draw line segments from O to each of the points on the
circle using rotation.
1. Double click on point O to make it a center of rotation.
2. Click on line segment OA.
3. Hold the shift key down and click on point A. The line segment OA
and the point A should be highlighted.
4. Go to the Transform menu and choose Rotate.
5. Choose an angle that will rotate the line segment OA and make it OB.
6. If it doesn’t match up:
undo what you did by pressing the Ctrl Z (undo) keys.
Repeat steps 2 through 5.
7. Next rotate OA so it makes OC.
When you are finished you should see this:

Lake a list of all the rotations (number of degrees) you used to make
all the line segments.
